Accomodations Other Than Hotels

Generally in todays travel world  travelers are increasingly demanding  and more sensitive to prices

Also what motivates travelers are changing , traveler want to experience something unique something different from  what they are used to.

With my few years in the travel profession I can say travelers want experiences that engage their thoughts ,and  feelings  and create a lasting memory

Most people are familiar with hotels and do not realize how many other types of facilities there are  to choose from I will like to highlight some facilities ,but there are a wide range to choose from I will just  share a few here that are unique.

Apartments: 
Before it was having and agreement to lease apartments for periods of six month or more,in many cities now you can get apartment for a period of one week even in some cases on a day by day bases. This is a good option for families.

Cottages and villas: 
 These are located in small residential areas  they are primarily private homes  and are available for a week stay. It is economical and if you want to experience the rural life experience it will give you the desired experience.

Eco tourist Accommodation:   
Ecotourism is travel to areas where nature has remained essentially undisturbed. This type of accommodation are provided in cities or towns at  some distances from the eco tourists sites.

Hostels:  
Hostels have upgraded  their facilities considerably  and relatively present  low cost alternative to hotel prices, unlike the stereotypical image of a hostel is single dormitory with bunk beds most of us know and hostel are available worldwide  and for travelers who do not mind sharing accommodation will find hostels a good choice.

Guesthouses: 
 Guesthouses are old houses  that have been renovated and brought up to high standards of comforts and luxury and operates like small  personalized hotels. This type of accommodation are good for people who likes personal attention or interesting locations and can be found in almost everywhere in the world,but maybe slightly expensive.

Another style of a  guesthouse  is  a  family home that has extra rooms and are usually called BED AND BREAKFAST  guests  often  share the living room and bathroom and eat with the family , This is not at all like an hotel ,this type of accommodation is well developed in Britain, Ireland.
