Nigerians to pay £3000 cash bond deposit for visit visa to the UK
Visitors from Nigeria will be required to pay £3000 bond deposit before they will be allowed into the United Kingdom .
This highly controversial scheme is a measure to curb the influx of immigrants from other countries and immigration abuse and fraud.
uk home secretary(theresa) says it would deter overstaying and recover cost, if foreign nationals have used the UK public services.
The move is also to reduce the number of immigrants entering the Uk from countries with high volume of visitors visa applications. which include India , pakistan Ghana and Nigeria.
This new development is expected to take effect in november 2013. for visitors visa applicants between the ages of 18years to 40 years .
